Nashwa Bint Abdulhadi Taher, former board member of the Jeddah Chamber and the Chairperson of the Committee of Commerce Chamber won the World Customs Organization’s award.
Taher is the first Arab business woman to receive the 2011 award, in recognition of her efforts in the commercial management sector and for fighting commercial fraud. She received the award from the Director General of Saudi Customs Saleh el-Khelewi.
The World Customs Award is organized by the «World Customs Organization» to highlight the efforts of 174 Member States in fight commercial fraud and the protection of intellectual property rights.
